My name is Michael Reddell and I am the Third Grade teacher at Saint Leander School. I am proud to be from California where I grew up in the East Bay. During college, I spent time working in preschools and working with kids in summer school and after-school programs. My personal goal is to make a difference in the lives of children.
I graduated from Saint Mary’s College of California in 2009 with a major in Psychology Child Development. After college, I moved to China for a few years where I taught English at a university and then taught English at training centers. Following that, my last two years in China were spent teaching at international schools as a First Grade homeroom teacher. After returning to the US, I joined Saint Leander in November 2017 to become the Second Grade teacher.
In my free time, I try to stay active by playing sports like tennis, snowboarding, swimming and going biking. I also have a knack for computers, programming, and multimedia design. I have two awesome cats named Soy Sauce and Wasabi.
I am so excited to be part of Saint Leander School and I am optimistic for this year and eager to share some new adventures with the Second Grade class.
