St. Leander School
has a strong and supportive relationship with local Catholic high schools. Our middle school students are given the tools to be successful in their studies, and are expected to work hard and be responsible in their study habits to demonstrate the skills necessary to successfully enroll in Catholic high school. Our students attend Bishop O'Dowd High School (Oakland), Moreau Catholic High School (Hayward), St. Joseph-Notre Dame High School (Alameda), Cristo Rey De La Salle High School (Oakland), and Holy Names High School (Oakland), and St. Mary's College High School (Berkeley). At graduation, qualifying students are recognized for superior academic performance through the President's Education Awards Program, and some students are presented with scholarships and awards from the Catholic high schools to which they have been accepted.
