GETTING INVOLVED
Studies have shown that when parental involvement in schools is high that students achieve higher grades and standardized test scores, improve behavior at home and school, and have better social skills and adaptation to school.
There are many ways for parents to get involved at St. Leander school such as being on the Parent Teacher Group (PTG), serving on the School Board, or volunteering your time in the classrooms or at school events, so please make it priority to do so for your child and our community. We’re in partnership with our parents to help give your child the best opportunities to thrive academically, spiritually, and socially.
Please contact School Board President, Tim Chasteen at timchasteen@comcast.net if you’re interested in signing up or learning more about the School Board.
Please contact PTG President, Victor Madrigal at victor.m.madrigal@gmail.com if you’re interested in signing up or learning more about the PTG.

This
is both an easy and rewarding service to our school because we benefit when you go grocery shopping, so please continue sending in those labels to us.
Another program that we use is Labels for Education, where our school can obtain free educational equipment in exchange for labels from various products.
Thank you to all those for collecting BoxTops & Labels for Education! Please continue to turn them in to your classrooms or the school office.
